THE CELLAR DOOR

 

Set against a backdrop of Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps, we invite you to the Mills family farm to share in our history, community, story and wines.  Come join us for a tasting and some conversation.

We are currently open by appointment Friday-Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.   These hours and days may be extended during the holiday season.  Please check our online booking calendar for availability.  Our Cellar Door tastings remain free of charge.

Rippon Vineyard & Winery Ltd. is a Vaccine Certified business.  As such, everyone entering the property is required to hold a personal vaccine certificate and you can rest assured that all our staff are also fully vaccinated.  We are very excited to welcome more of our guests back and to operate at full capacity under the new traffic light system.

To make things smooth and easy, please have your vaccine certificate and photo ID at the ready upon arrival.  Our team will be waiting, smiles under masks, to quickly verify then get you in for tasting and celebrating our new freedoms in operation.

FOOD

Our energy is focused on Rippon, the place, and the wines it produces.  We endeavour to keep this focus true and undiluted so do not have a restaurant in regular operation, nor do we offer food through our Cellar Door.

Other than licensed caterers for specific events, outside food is not allowed anywhere on the farm.
