The Cellar Door

Set against a backdrop of Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps, we invite you to the Mills family farm to share in our history, community, story and wines.

The tasting is relatively informal.  5-7 wines are available daily for tasting, mainly of our current vintages.

Individuals and small groups (six or fewer people) are welcome to visit the Cellar Door and taste freely during normal open hours until October 1st, 2019.

Groups of seven or more must contact us prior to arrival to enquire about availability for group tastings.

From October 1st, 2019, appointments will be required for all tastings.

Open from 11am-5pm daily (final tasting commences 4:30pm)

FOOD

Whilst the Rippon Hall is occasionally a venue for pop-up restaurants in the winter months, we do not have a restaurant in regular operation, nor do we serve food through the Cellar Door.  Instead, our energy is focused on Rippon, the place, and the wines it produces.  We endeavour to keep this focus true and undiluted.

Other than licensed caterers for specific events, outside food is not allowed anywhere on the farm.
